Vanilla Lucy's vocalist Bae Da Hae has declared her intention to part ways with her band and go solo for 2011. According to her agency, HM Entertainment, Bae Da Hae discussed plans at length with them until she eventually decided to work as a solo singer. The reason for her decision was based on her sudden rise in popularity after appearing on KBS's show, "Qualifications of Men". She reasoned that because her schedule has been clustered by individual activities, it was difficult for her to give her best performance for Vanilla Lucy. After completing the band's last year-end schedules together, HM Entertainment will open an audition to find a new vocalist for the band. Bae Da Hae is currently preparing for her first solo album with producer Bae Jin Ryeol; she's revealed that she'll not only be doing ballads, but will cover other genres for her debut as well. The album is expected to be released by February 2011. Source: DongA via Nate
