SM Town revealed on the morning of October 15th, "'Our 'SMTOWN '10 WORLD TOUR in LA' has managed to rank on America's Billboard charts. As of the 9th, the concert is ranked in 10th."
The concert recorded impressive ticket sales, as it featured many superstar artists - BoA, Kang Ta, Yunho, Changmin, Super Junior, and SNSD are just a few names out of many others who performed that night. The concert attracted a 15,015-member audience and brought in $1,101,582 USD in ticket sales alone.
The feat is highly impressive since the concert managed to beat out internationally-reknown pop stars like Justin Bieber and Shakira. Indeed, a Korean concert ranking on the Billboard chart is in itself an exceptional case, as 70% of the concert audience consisted of Asian Americans.
