Actress Moon Geun Young has transformed into a lovable young lady with a new curly hair-do for her new role in the upcoming KBS2TV's mini-series, Mary Skipped the Curfew. The actress's new image was first introduced through photo-stills of her new character at the drama's official poster shoot, which took place recently on October 6. In the drama, Moon plays the role of Wi Mae Ri, a crafty and sly character who remains hopeful and optimistic despite her tough lifestyle. In an interview with Moon, she said, "I originally wanted to take a break after my stage play [Closer], but I liked the project so much that I decided to take it up". She also revealed, "Jang Geun Suk was already confirmed for the role, and I had enough trust and belief in the production team". Mary Skipped the Curfew is a romantic comedy based on an online manhwa that follows the lives of four young adults who get involved in each other's lives through the interest of contract marriages. The drama will be penned by script-writer In Eun Ah who's past works include 'Goong' and 'Love & Marriage' and directed by Hong Seuk-Gu of 'Kyung Sook and Kyung Sook's Father'. Mary Skipped the Curfew will make its debut on November 8 through KBS2TV, taking over the outgoing Sungkyunkwan Scandal in the Mon-Tues time-slot. Meanwhile, Moon Geun Young has just wrapped up the final show of her musical, 'Closer' and she recently uploaded a picture of a cake and presents her fans gave her to celebrate the closing.
