"The Man from Nowhere (Mr.)" passes 5.7 million viewers

"Ahjussi" a.k.a "The Man from Nowhere (Mr.)" is drifting towards the top blockbuster spot for the year. According to the Integrated Network Aggregation Korean Film Council, the film attracted sixty thousand viewers between September 17th and 19th. Currently, it is placed 8th place for weekly box office sales. The film has been in the theaters since August 4th, and has currently been running for a grand total of seven weeks. The film is also predicted to cross the 5.8 million viewer mark after the Chuseok holidays. Having already passed "Brothers" as the most powerful Korean blockbuster of 2010, only "Inception" remains above "Ahjussi". Overall, "Ahjussi" ranks third all-time amongst Korea's equivalent of R-rated movies. �First belongs to "Friends", and "Tazza: the High Rollers" comes in second.
