K-pop is something that is very near and dear to all of us here at allkpop. We grew up with it, so every time we hear an old classic, it inevitably invokes many fond memories. My own ever-growing collection of K-pop albums has now grown to over 350, and it dates all the way back to the mid-90s! The staff and I have come together as a result of our mutual love for K-pop, and we strive to share that love with all of you through this exchange of information and opinions. And haven't we all come a long way in just a few years? K-pop is no longer something people snicker or scoff at - it's now entrenched as a global phenomenon. When we started the site back in 2007, we felt like there wasn't an adequate all-encompassing resource for K-pop fans, so we had high hopes that we could share our love of K-pop with others, and even make fun of it at times, because sometimes it's just good to laugh. It feels like just yesterday that Paul and I founded allkpop, and honestly, it has been a crazy ride. There have been good times, and there have been bad times, but we've all experienced it together, and your participation means a lot to us. � Running this site has been a significant learning experience, and we expect that it will continue to be one, so we thank you for your patience with our mistakes throughout the years. Now with that said� In just three short years, allkpop has become the largest international K-pop site in the world, with 3 million readers a month, and it's all thanks to you! �So to show our gratitude, we'll be picking three lucky winners and sending them a special 3-year anniversary allkpop gift package.
