The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) recently posted photos of top Korean actor Jang Dong Gun helping the hungry in Laos. The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and Korean MOFAT donated $400,000 while Jang Dong Gun visited Ban Houayhoy, one of the villages in Laos that was devastated by Typhoon Ketsana and lost most of it's rice crop. Jang Dong Gun visited the schools where he met with the students, he also helped transport food to the village. It's great to see more and more celebrities doing these type of things.
