Hwang Jung Eum and co-star Daniel Choi were caught in a minor scandal because they are love interests on the show High Kick Through the Roof. On the recent episode of Strong Heart, Hwang Jun Eum revealed her true feelings about Daniel Choi.
She said, "Sometimes, I was confused whether or not the love scenes between Daniel Choi and I were real or not. His character is charming to everyone. When I acted, I would think to myself 'He's so charming.' I enjoyed acting with him."
Regarding her scarf kiss scene with him she said, "When I filmed it, I thought to myself, 'This is why people act.' I messed up like ten times."
Then the unthinkable happened, Hwang Jung Eum and SG Wannabe's Kim Yong Joon fought after the kiss scene happened and they even broke up for a little bit.
Hwang Jung Eum said, "We filmed the kiss scene a week before it aired and I knew he would make it a big deal so I just wanted one quiet week to myself. That's why I didn't even warn my boyfriend."
After it aired Kim Yong Joon teased her like an immature child. It kind of scared Hwang Jung Eum that he did get offended by the kiss. He said to her, "Was it nice? Was he good? Was it the script or was it real?"
However, after this minor breakup, they got back together and are now in a loving relationship.
