Jo Su Jin admits to being accepted to Miss Korea pageant only after getting work done

Jo Su Jin, who received the Manners Award at the 2009 Miss Korea pageant recently, participated in a taping of SBS E!TV's Lee Kyung Sil Jung Sun Hee's Chul Puh Duk House to discuss how she was able to realize her dream of being in a Miss Korea pageant only after enduring hours of cosmetic surgery. During the interview, Jo Su Jin stated, "The only reason I was able to participate in the pageant was because I became beautiful after getting work done to my face� I had an opportunity to be part of a cable TV show where they paid for all my cosmetic surgeries and after that, I was able to pursue my dream of becoming Miss Korea." She went on to say, "Ever since I was a young girl, I've dreamt of becoming Miss Korea, but every time I tried out, I got rejected because of my face. However, after altering my appearance through cosmetic surgeries, I was finally elected to be part of the pageant." Currently, Jo Su Jin is working as a makeup model for global fashion houses including Shiseido, Dior, and Chanel.
