Do you guys remember the group Oh-Sonyeo (Five Girls)? It was a female group composed of five members: Yubin, Uee, Hyosung, actress Yang Ji Won and Gina Choi. The group was supposed to debut together until they got separated at the last minute. Well, Oh-Sonyeo's last member to debut, Gina Choi, will finally kick off her career this summer! Gina (second to right in the picture above) is currently preparing for her debut album release this summer as a solo artist under BEAST and 4minute's agency, Cube Entertainment. To prepare for her debut, she will have her showcase in Cube's Star Party as well as in an event for Cube and Universal on the 5th at Seoul's Melon-AX hall. In the past, Gina was cast in 2PM's music video for their debut-song "10 Points out of 10" along with Yubin. The rest of the Oh-Sonyeo members have all experienced success in their careers as Yubin is in Wonder Girls, Uee in After School, Hyosung in Secret, and Ji Won (former member of T-ara) starring in hit-movies like More Than Blue and Death Bell. Will Gina have a success as a solo singer? We'll have to see.
