MBC planning for historical drama on Baekje

After achieving high ratings with Jumong of Goguryeo and Queen Seon Duk of Silla in 2007 and 2009 respectively, MBC is planning to produce another historical drama set in the turbulent 3 Kingdoms of Korea period. With loads of planning to be done beforehand for a historic drama, MBC has announced that they would be producing a 50 episode drama titled, Onjo Biryu. The drama will touch on the struggles and growth of Baejke by their founding fathers, Onjo and Biryu. Onjo and Biryu were both sons of Goguryeo's founder, Jumong and their stories are expected to generate much interest among viewers. The script is currently being worked on and is tentatively set for spring 2011. As it's still in the earlier stages, the cast and production company are yet to be finalized.
