Back in late 2007 / early 2008, around the time allkpop first opened, actor Gong Yoo enlisted in the Korean army, which is mandatory for all Korean males. Almost 2 years has passed and Gong Yoo is finally going to be discharged from the army! For those of you out of the loop, Gong Yoo was one of Korea's top actors before enlisting. His most notable role was on the hit drama Coffee Prince. So this news of the discharge is great news for his fans. His exact date for the discharge is on December 8th, just in time for Christmas. No word on if he's going to immediately go back to acting like Song Seung Hun or take his time like Won Bin. Either way, it's good that he's going to be back soon.
