Japanese R&B artist Mai Kuraki who will be having her first concert in Seoul in November, was in town recently, a month ahead of schedule to meet up with her fans and promote her concert tour. Mai Kuraki's first concert in Korea will take place at Seoul's Ax-Hall on November 14 and she gave a preview of her concert by performing her 1999 debut single, Love, Day After Tomorrow and her recent Oricon chart topper Beautiful, which was written by a Korean songwriter Song Yang Ha on the 8th October episode of Mnet's M! Countdown. She sounded pretty shaky at times but it was cool to see a top selling J-pop artist perform on a Korean cable music show. Mai Kuraki had been impressed by the reception she got from Korean fans when she performed at the Asia Song Festival two years ago and thus she requested to perform in Korea for her 10th anniversary in the business.
