YB joins this summer's Vans Warped Tour 2009

Legendary Korean rock band YB (also known as Yoon Do Hyun Band or Yoon Band) has been invited to the U.S. to participate in this summer’s Vans Warped Tour 2009. YB will join the last leg of the Warped Tour in mid August and play in 7 cities. This isn’t YB’s first time playing in the U.S. though. In the not too distant past, they played at the SXSW (South by Southwest) Festival in Austin, Texas. Nonetheless, the Warped Tour is another great opportunity for YB to introduce themselves to a whole new audience. Here’s the list of when, where, and what time YB will be performing on the Warped Tour: August 15th, 3:00p.m. @The Gorge in Seattle, WA August 16th, 3:00p.m. @Washington County Fairgrounds in Portland, OR August 19th, 3:00p.m. @Save Mart Center in Fresno, CA August 20th, 3:00p.m. @Shoreline Amphitheatre at Mountain View in Mountain View, CA August 21st, 3:00p.m. @Sleep Train Amphitheatre in Sacramento, CA August 22nd, 3:00p.m. @Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre in San Diego, CA August 23rd, 3:00p.m. @Home Depot Center in Los Angeles, CA It’s been a few years since I’ve gone to a Warped Tour show, but I don’t think I’ve really been missing much. Honestly, this year’s Warped Tour looks like it’s going to be the same shit, different year. I am a fan of YB though, and if I could I would go just to see them. The Warped Tour isn’t what it used to be so if any of you AKP readers are going to go, then don’t forget to take your all-in-one tool/douche bag/burnout repellent spray.
