10 overrated groups in K-Pop

misc.
1. 10 overrated groups in K-Pop

There are plenty of talented groups out there, and some are riding on a never ending fame train! Without a doubt, these groups deserve attention and reward for their hard work, but some of these groups have almost stolen the spotlight for the most simple of reasons. Here is a list of idols who may have more hype than necessary.
2. f(x)
It is not to say the ladies of f(x) don't have any talent but fans seem to think every song is a chart topping hit! Each of their songs have been but, in my humble opinion, "Red Light" was a blender of EDM sounds during a time where everyone was hating on EDM - yet people were loving this song! "4 Walls" is another song that, although great, is not far from a Forever21 playlist (I'd love to hear them while shopping though!).
3. A Pink
When the girls debuted, they had built much hype and support from fans and idols alike. The lovely ladies have modeled themselves into a talented group but people seem to constantly award them with being the only cute girl group out there that are allowed to do vintage styles. Lovelyz and G-Friend are unfairly considered carbon copies next to them.
4. miss A
This group has made hits, each and every time. However, they have been off the scene for a while and whenever they make comebacks as simple as "Only You," many can't help but go gaga over it. The whole article stating they never heard the man yelling in the back track was kind of an obvious stunt.
5. Orange Caramel
The ladies have ventured deep into their whimsical and quirky concepts - which we love, but it is starting to make these fine ladies rusty when it comes to singing. After School exhibited their talented vocals and Orange Caramel is wearing it out thin with the constant baby talk and whiney lyrics.
6. AOA
The girls kind of blew up out of nowhere. I'm not saying they are sell outs because I love their new approach, but what happened to their band concept? They dropped that act really quick when they saw it was getting them nowhere and now their booty based choreography was the only way to showcase the talented members and Choa's vocals.
7. SISTAR
SISTAR is a group riding a rollercoaster in my opinion. They were completely hated in the beginning and somehow rose to the top. How? Because they were becoming better at their craft with music. Yet they keep releasing generic summer tracks like "Shake It." What happened to the sultry, soul searching songs like "Alone" that made them big?
8. iKON
The boys are basically parading all throughout K-Pop but what generated such a craze for them? Don't get me wrong; they were busy during 2015, they not only debuted strong but also served out tracks like they had been making them for years in advance. However, is it simply YG's dominance that made them so easily loved by the public?
9. VIXX
I like VIXX but I'm curious what made them blow up our social media like that? Although they have flashy choreography and stage presence, I don't see what is making their name dominate the internet and outshining senior groups like B1A4 and TEEN TOP.
10. CNBLUE
These guys are a well established group and really are the first image to come to mind when thinking of K-Pop bands. Yet, they seem to have lost their touch as the years go on and music is changing. "Cinderella" was successful yet didn't blow up as graciously as they normally would.
11. WINNER
The talented singers of WINNER are kings of K-Pop ballads; however, they don't venture much further with concept variety. This group is another YG baby that, one can assume, reached the top so quickly due in part of their agency. Despite making beautiful music like "Color Ring", some ballads aren't always far from the usual expectations.
