I think sm actually is in the right here. they became a sub of one hundred and probably thought the contract was nullified just with that because the 'contractor' changed. but a contract is a contract, you cant just overwrite it. I think cbx wanted to get out of it with this 'trick' and are now adding shade to sm so ppl are siding with them. from a business perspective this is just shady from cbx side if you ask me.

When I went to school n the US, we were only taught about wars with the Indians and the Confederate soldiers. They hardly touched on the issues with blacks, just that they wanted to stop segregation. And JFK’s assassination. Nothing about WWI and WWII atrocities in Germany nor what happened to the Koreans during their war.

When my then husband was stationed in Berlin, Germany, we learned about the horrors and atrocities. Since we lived close to the Berlin Wall, we sometimes heard gunshots from the East Germans when someone tried to cross over the wall.

I learned about the Korean Japanese atrocities through my husband’s collection of history books.

I can see Chaeyong liking a T-shirt for the band and not knowing about the swashtika. It’s all in what you learn and not learn about what you’re interested in.

In Korea the left facing "Swastika" or Manja 卍 is a common symbol there, specially in Buddhist temples, it’s meant to be a symbol for good fortune and auspiciousness... not sure about the relevance but I'm guessing many people dont even know this... anyway It's the German Nazi's who ruined the symbol, which was a peaceful and sacred sign in the first place in many other cultures...

Up until Red Velvet SM debuted a new gg pretty much every 2 years so wouldn't be surprised if they actually debut a new gg in 2023, i absolutely love aespa's style but i would also love a more vocal based SM gg, something similar to SNSD or RV 

Idk if this is unpopular, but I'd argue they actually did debut at the right time. Looking at the kpop scene at the time, B.A.P was a standout. I don't remember if their concept was the first of its kind but it definitely was rare back then and their confidence on stage was almost unheard of - those two things is what caught the public's attention. The industry now is saturated with these types of groups, ie Ateez and Stray Kids, so their debut would very likely be lost in this new generation.

All this also shows is what a profound effect B.A.P had on the industry, they were one of the OGs of their type of group. Their legendary rookie era with the type of energy they brought to stage, EXO bringing a storyline into their concept greatly influenced the groups of today. All of this was also followed by BTS combining both these aspects and their immense rise to fame. These three groups really set up the path for a lot of the types of groups to debut and lead the 4th gen imo

Basic point is, they had the right timing - energy and sound to make it big, but TS is the one that fucked it up with their shitty management.
