Rookie boy group DAILY:DIRECTION under ODDWAVE is rapidly building excitement ahead of their debut.
On February 16th at 6 PM KST, DAILY:DIRECTION (Jang Yoon Seok, Lim Ji Hwan, Kim Joo Hyung, Lee Won Woo, E VAN, and EN KIM) unveiled the music video teaser for the title track ‘ROOMBADOOMBA’ from their first single album ‘FIRST:DELIVERY’ through their official social media channels.
In the released teaser, the members draw attention with scenes ranging from lying on the road to racing forward without hesitation. Despite its short runtime, the video clearly imprints the group’s distinctive energy and atmosphere through dynamic movements and stylish direction.
In particular, after the members run toward a destination, the youngest member, Jang Yoon Seok, is shown standing alone on a bridge, capturing viewers’ attention. The scene then cross cuts with the image of an angel, creating a symbolic moment that heightens curiosity about its meaning.
The teaser for ‘ROOMBADOOMBA’ offers a glimpse into the beginning of the story DAILY:DIRECTION plans to unfold. Moving from a kitschy fairytale like universe into reality, the video depicts the members standing at the center of unfolding events, raising anticipation for how the narrative will develop.
The team name DAILY:DIRECTION reflects the idea that “daily choices accumulate to create one’s own direction.” Rather than following a predetermined answer, the group places at the heart of their narrative the journey of forging their own path through trial, error, and personal decisions.
Meanwhile, DAILY:DIRECTION will release their first single album ‘FIRST:DELIVERY’ on the 23rd at 6 PM and hold a fan showcase at YES24 Wonderlock Hall at 8 PM the same day.
