NEWBEAT is set to host their first-ever solo concert, 'Drop the NEWBEAT', January 18, 2026, at 5 PM KST at the Yes24 Wonderloc Hall. According to their agency, Beat Interactive, the event serves as a milestone to reflect on the group’s rapid journey since their debut in March last year. Members Park Minseok, Hong Minsung, Jeon Yeoyeojeong, Choi Seohyun, Kim Taeyang, Jo Yunhu, and Kim Riwoo have curated an extensive setlist as a gift to their dedicated fans. The concert will feature diverse performances, including 'Flip the Coin', the lead single from their first studio album, alongside global hits like 'Look So Good' and 'LOUD'. Additionally, the show will include exclusive unit stages and a special cover medley selected through fan voting.
To bridge the gap with their international audience, NEWBEAT will livestream the encore portion of the concert across various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Douyin. This initiative aims to deliver the vibrant energy of the venue to fans worldwide in real-time. The group previously made a significant impact on the global music scene when their track 'Look So Good' topped 6 different categories on Amazon Music in the United States and secured a spot on the YouTube Music TOP 100 chart, an exceptional achievement for a rookie group.
Their impressive momentum led to them winning the Rookie of the Year award at the '17th Seoul Success Awards'. Furthermore, NEWBEAT has been successfully expanding their global footprint, recently completing a series of activities in China through a strategic partnership with the major local entertainment firm Modern Sky. Today's solo concert is expected to be a defining moment for NEWBEAT, showcasing their musical evolution and further solidifying their bond with a growing global fanbase.
