Jennie made a surprise appearance on the final episode of 'Transit Love 4', revealing that she is a devoted fan of the dating reality show.
In the episode released on January 21, Jennie joined the panel as a special guest. Host Lee Yong Jin commented, “I heard you’re a huge fan of our show,” to which Jennie replied, “I think I keep up with it pretty well,” confirming her enthusiasm for the program.
Simon D shared the behind the scenes story of how Jennie came to appear on the show, saying, “We message each other sometimes. I asked her, ‘Are you watching it?’ and she said, ‘Oppa, it’s so fun. Can’t I come on the show?’ I asked her, ‘Are you really going to come out?’ and that’s how it happened.”
Jennie expressed her excitement, saying, “I loved the offer. It was the best,” adding, “It feels so strange to be here. It’s like I’ve stepped into the TV screen.”
When Lee Yong Jin asked if Simon D had spoiled anything for her, Jennie answered, “Not at all. He just told me, ‘If you want to know, come on the show.’” Simon D joked, “I’m good at recruiting,” to which Jennie laughed and responded, “I got recruited.”
Jennie also reacted to a memorable moment from the show. When asked if she had seen the Ferris wheel date where Ji Hyun and Seung Yong sang “DDU DU DDU DU,” she shyly replied, “I saw it. I was watching without expecting anything, and suddenly a BLACKPINK song came on, so I was really happy. It’s nice when it pops up unexpectedly.”
Her candid reactions delighted viewers and added a special highlight to the final episode.
