The “growth-type all-rounder” POW reflected on the year, sharing their heartfelt thoughts: “Through 2025, we became stronger. The presence of the members and POWER (our fandom) helped us grow together.”
POW (Yochi, Hyunbin, Jeongbin, Dongyeon, Hong) released their "2025 Epilogue Interview" on the group’s official YouTube channel on December 29th KST. After a year marked by four comebacks, an Asia tour, and reverse-charting success on global platforms, the members spoke candidly about the emotions, changes, and resolutions that shaped their journey.
“I’ve become a stronger version of myself”
When asked who they are now, each member described their personal growth in their own words. Leader Yochi shared that his sense of responsibility has grown significantly, adding that he now thinks more deeply as both leader and eldest member. Hyunbin said that while he used to be full of overflowing energy, he is now striving to become a calmer person. Jeongbin described himself as someone who constantly observes and questions himself, noting that he continues to grow daily because he knows he is not yet complete. Dongyeon expressed a mindset of self-acceptance, saying that all versions of himself—beyond fixed labels—can simply be who he is. Youngest member Hong shared warmly that he sees himself as someone who receives a great deal of love.
“POW is a team that keeps growing”
The members unanimously described POW with the keyword “growth.” Yochi called the group a team that supports one another and never gives up easily. Hyunbin noted that while there were once differences in opinions, the members have grown closer and now move with similar mindsets. Jeongbin and Dongyeon referred to POW as a team still in progress—one that constantly moves toward completion. Hong added that the group is steadily growing step by step.
What powered POW throughout the year?
Each member openly shared what drove them forward this year. Yochi cited the desire to overcome his past self, Hyunbin pointed to POWER (the fandom), Jeongbin mentioned the feedback he received from others, and Hong emphasized having clear goals. Dongyeon, in particular, spoke emotionally about fans, saying they were the greatest source of change and strength in his life. He added that he never takes the next opportunity for granted and approaches every stage with gratitude and sincerity.
“In 2025, we helped each other grow”
Looking back on the year, the members described 2025 as a time that brought them closer together. Yochi shared that while he once focused only on the future, he now concentrates more on the concrete steps needed to succeed. Jeongbin said the group is now united in looking toward the same direction, while Hong added that their activities this year allowed them to become a great source of strength for one another.
With four comebacks, an Asia tour, and their first solo concert packed into a relentless schedule, POW expanded their musical spectrum in line with their reputation as “growth-type all-rounders.” Anticipation is already building for what kind of music and narrative POW will unveil as they take their next leap forward in 2026.
