Singer and actor Yoochun recently updated fans with a selfie posted on social media.
On June 1st KST, Park shared a single photo, sparking a wave of reactions from fans. In the photo, he wears a cap pulled low and looks directly into the camera with a surprised expression and striking gaze.
Fans responded with mixed curiosity and warmth, commenting, “Is that a look of determination to return?”, “That expression is cute,” and “Please update us more often.”
Park has remained a controversial figure in recent years. In 2019, he was sentenced to 10 months in prison with a two-year suspension for using methamphetamine with his then-fiancée Hwang Ha Na. At the time, Park had tearfully declared, “If I’ve done drugs, I will retire from the entertainment industry,” but the charges were proven true, leading to widespread public backlash.
Following the scandal, he resumed activities primarily overseas in Japan and Thailand.
In 2021, Park became embroiled in a legal dispute with his agency Ricielo, which accused him of using the company credit card for personal entertainment and living expenses. The agency also claimed to have helped repay nearly 2 billion KRW (1.4 million USD) in personal debt, only to be defamed by Park’s alleged false statements, prompting them to file a lawsuit.
In a separate legal case, Park was ordered to pay 500 million KRW in damages to Have Fun Together for violating his exclusive contract by working with Ricielo without consent.
Most recently, in 2023, Park stirred further controversy by hosting a dinner show with ticket prices reportedly reaching 460,000 KRW per person.
