Byun Woo Seok continues run on Billboard charts for two consecutive weeks

According to the latest chart released by Billboard Charts on June 11 (local time), Eclipse's "Sudden Shower" ranked 167th on the 'Billboard Global 200' chart.

"Sudden Shower", which charted at 199th place last week, jumped a whopping 32 places and charted for two consecutive weeks.

"Sudden Shower" is a song sung by Eclipse, a band to which Ryu Seon Jae (played by Byun Woo Seok) belongs in the tvn drama 'Lovely Runner'. In the drama, this is a self-composed song written by Ryu Seon Jae while remembering his first love, Lim Sol (played by Kim Hye Yoon).

The Global 200 chart does not include local radio broadcast scores in the U.S., but is based on streaming and music sales in more than 200 regions around the world. It is unusual for a drama OST to enter Billboard's major charts, and the rankings rose immediately after the drama ended, continuing the syndrome.

The song continues to enjoy long-running popularity on domestic charts as well. "Sudden Rain" is ranked 4th on the Melon Chart's TOP 10 chart on the morning of June 12, following aespa and NewJeans.
