Recently, LE SSERAFIM faced sexual harassment from a Taiwanese entertainer, Huang Weijin.

According to a Taiwanese media outlet report on January 29, an incident occurred during a Lunar New Year's special program, '2024 Taiwan Superstar Red and White Entertainment Awards,' which was held on January 27.

LE SSERAFIM was invited to the program to perform and meet with fans. During the program, members of LE SSERAFIM attempted to eat sweet potato balls with bamboo skewers when the host, Huang Weijin, made an inappropriate comment. He went to say, "I want to stick it in them down there...the fried sweet potato balls."

Upon hearing this comment, the other host, Lulu Huang Lu Zi Yin, pointed out his remark and criticized, "Hey Weijin, I think you made a verbal mistake." However, Weijin responded with, "I just wanted to eat with them, I didn't mean any other intention."

However, the video of Huang Weijin's audio went viral, causing many netizens to criticize the Taiwanese host, expressing anger and disgust toward his comment.

With heightening criticisms, Huang Weijin posted an apology on his social media. He stated, "It was part of the broadcast to allow the members to eat delicious food one by one, and I instinctively wanted to react to Yoon Jin's statement about sticking sweet potato balls. I didn't want to make the eating process awkward."

He continued, "I said words that could be misunderstood by everyone, but the message I wanted to convey in my heart was 'I'm glad to share delicious food with idols I like.'"
