Pledis Entertainment is set to unveil a new, highly anticipated boy group in January 2024. The official announcement came from industry insiders on November 7 KST, sparking increasing anticipation amongst K-pop enthusiasts around the globe.
Significantly, this will be Pledis' first boy group launched since the inception of the wildly popular group Seventeen, nearly a decade ago. After a dedicated period of careful planning and meticulous training, the new group is reportedly 'all set' to make their official debut early next year.
Interestingly, unlike Seventeen, with its larger ensemble, the new group will feature a more compact line-up. The band plans to debut as a 5-6 member group and has confirmed to include international members in its composition. This strategic mix is expected to create a unique dynamic and broaden their appeal to a more global audience.
