Since being introduced in Korea in 2007, Subway sandwiches have become a favorite of South Koreans. Over the years, the franchise company had many top Korean celebrities representing the brand in South Korea.
Just a day before, Subway Korea uploaded a photo on their social media sharing, "A new model is coming to sub city...it feels like the surroundings are already getting bright and becoming fresh...! Try to guess who the next model is in the comments!!"
This sparked netizens to guess who the new model is. Several guesses were speculating that the new model would be either Song Kang or Kim Seon Ho, but it was revealed on June 30 that the new Subway model is Cha Eun Woo!
Alongside this announcement, Subway revealed their upcoming brand campaign, titled 'Eat Fresh, Feel Good.'
With his new role as the brand ambassador, Cha Eun Woo is set to engage in various activities with Subway. The first of these will be the release of Subway's 'Eat Fresh, Feel Good' campaign video, scheduled to be broadcasted across major Asian countries, including Korea, next month.
Subway expressed that Cha Eun Woo's healthy and invigorating image, which he has showcased through his domestic and international activities as a Hallyu star, aligns perfectly with the campaign's message.
An official from Subway stated, "Cha Eun Woo's captivating allure, encompassing his striking appearance, refreshing energy, and genuine persona, will synergize harmoniously with the brand values we aim to communicate through this campaign."
Furthermore, the official anticipated a range of exciting activities, including product advertisements and store events, that Subway and Cha Eun Woo will embark on together.
