GOT7 Jinyoung's label has released a statement before his military enlistment next week.

On May 4, BH Entertainment shared the notice below announcing Jinyoung is fulfilling his mandatory military enlistment starting on May 8 KST. There will be no special event for his enlistment, and his official time and place of enlistment will be kept private.

Previously, Jinyoung wrote a handwritten letter to fans on his coming enlistment. He also recently took home the 'Best New Actor' award for his role in the movie 'Christmas Carol' and the 'TikTok Popularity Award' at the '59th Baeksang Arts Awards'.
