All four members of BLACKPINK are expected to renew their contracts and stay with YG Entertainment

An exclusive report from Star News on April 4 stated that all four members seem to have set their minds on renewing with YG Entertainment.

Insiders working closely with the four members of BLACKPINK have revealed that the group has a strong intention to maintain their collaborative bond with YG Entertainment unless an extraordinary circumstance arises to change their decision.

The extensive world tour and other upcoming performances appear to have significantly impacted BLACKPINK's decision to stay with YG Entertainment.

BLACKPINK is currently taking the K-pop industry by storm with their world tour, drawing a staggering 1.5 million fans worldwide. The group has completed 14 electrifying shows across 7 cities in North America, followed by another 10 performances across 7 cities in Europe. But the tour is far from over, as BLACKPINK is captivating audiences in Asia with their magnetic stage presence and chart-topping hits.

Additionally, BLACKPINK will be headlining Coachella, one of the biggest music festivals in the U.S., later this month and 'The Hyde Park British Summertime Festival' in the U.K. in July.

BLACKPINK has achieved remarkable success as a group, and industry insiders have noted that their accomplishments have strengthened the bond of trust between YG Entertainment and the members. With their numerous accolades and record-breaking achievements, it's no surprise that BLACKPINK is expected to continue their partnership with YG Entertainment, which has been their home since their debut.

I’m gonna get crap for this, but I guess it’s a comfortable move for them. They have freedom to do whatever they want since they’re not spending a lot of time on the studio or the practice room (compared to the other groups) and they still get a lot of money. I don’t know in what terms they are renegotiating their contracts, but if any of those girls is serious about music they need to look at CL as a cautionary tale. She renewed thinking YG would support her music crossing over to the West and YG sabotaged her for 3+ years. They can renegotiate all they want and YG can promise they will support them as artists, but YG will never hold their end of the deal.

Looking forward to more years of no promotions from YG and Teddy re-recording the same song for the fifth time.
