On March 2, 2023, fans of MAMAMOO vocalist Wheein noticed a new Instagram story posted by a tattoo artist that the honey vocalist has used in the past.

The tattoo design was of two music notes with Wheein's personal Instagram tag added to the post. this immediately sent the fandom into speculation about what the musical note design means. Since the way the notes are shaped, they can be viewed at one point as the letter "M" for MAMAMOO or "W" for Wheein (plus a letter "J" likely for Jung as in Jung Wheein for her full name).
This marks her 17th tattoo. However, what further stirred the fandom into a frenzy was the fact of what happened the last time Wheein got a tattoo. She announced a musical release right after getting her last tattoo, which would match the words from the idol herself, that she was working on a solo music album last year. Based on the timeline and the new tattoo, many fans speculate that the idol will soon announce a new music release.
