On May 7, JYP Entertainment confirmed in an official statement, "All members of Stray Kids, as well as their staff, have tested negative for COVID-19."
Back on May 4, the competitors of Mnet's ongoing boy group competition program 'Kingdom' attended the show's 3rd round recording. Afterward, a back dancer who participated in a stage featuring members of iKON, SF9, and The Boyz tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, all six competing teams of 'Kingdom' as well as all affiliated production staff and crew underwent COVID-19 testing, although Mnet assured that the possibility of prolonged contact with this back dancer was highly unlikely.
