Underrated 2020 Kpop Debuts pt. 2

In the original post, many solo artist debuts were featured, and all of the music videos had under 5 million views. In this post, we will be mainly looking at group debuts in 2020 that were underrated or overlooked. These MV's will have a lot more views than the MV's in my original post, but I have a feeling that you will find a couple that you've never seen before.

1. Redsquare - Color Full

Redsquare is a 5 member girl group under ICONIC MnE. They debuted on May 19th, 2020, with their debut single album Prequel, which featured their song "Color Full." If you watch their mv, you will notice that their full faces are always hiddenThe reason for this is because the girls want their fans to fall in love with them because of their singing and not just their looks. As a girl group, they are more than just a group of pretty faces. An amazing message that really makes them stand out. Thank you, pink_oracle, for the recommendation!

2. Cignature - Nun Nu Nan Na

Cignature is a 7 member girl group under J9 entertainment, a subsidiary company under C9 entertainment. They debuted on February 3rd, 2020, with their lead single "Nun Nu Nan Na." The girls are adorable in their mv. The song is very catchy, bubbly, and fun. It's exactly what we all need during this pandemic. Thank you, pink_oracle, for the recommendation!

3. Woo!Ah! - Woo!Ah!

Woo!Ah! is a 5 member girl group under NV entertainment. They debuted on May 15th, 2020, with their first single album, Exclamation, with the title track "Woo!Ah!" (same as their group name). Their voices are very gentle. They are many catchy parts of their song, such as their pre-chorus "Badda badda bing badda badda boom" and their chorus "Peek-a peek-a-boo...feel so good." Their song will surely bring you back to the good old days where life was so carefree. Thank you xhecthor for the recommendation!

4. Ryu Su Jeong - Tiger Eyes

Ryu Su Jeong is a member of the girl group Lovelyz. She made her solo debut on May 20th, 2020. Her voice sounds so amazing. The song gives off a bit of a dark, sexy feel that reminds me of other songs like Miss A's "Good Girl Bad Girl" and AOA's "Miniskirt." An amazing solo debut. Thank you, angryunnie, for the recommendation!

5.  Ghost9 - Think of Dawn

Ghost9 is a 9 member boy group under Maroo entertainment. The group features many former Produce X 101 contestants. They made their debut on September 23rd, 2020, with their first mini-album Door and their title track "Think of Dawn." The group showcased their powerful moves in their mv with their captivating dance break. If you like apocalyptic/futuristic concepts, then check out their debut song. Thank you, Seonghwa-Turtle, for the recommendation!

6. BTOB 4U - Show Your Love

BTOB is a 6 member 3rd gen boy group. They have 2 different subunits, but this subunit consists of members Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, and Peniel. They debuted on November 16th, 2020. This song showcases their nice vocals and amazing rapping skills. BTOB is currently competing on Mnet's Kingdom, so don't forget to check them out.

7. BAE173 - Crush On U

BAE173 is a 9 member boy group under PocketDol studio, a subsidiary label under MBK entertainment and Interpark. They debuted on November 19th, 2020. The group features former contestants on various survival shows such as Boys24, The Unit, Produce X 101, and Under Nineteen. Produce X 101 winners Dohyon and Hangyul are also a part of the group. Their debut song features a very fresh, high-spirited, cute sound. They have really good raps and energy. The dance reminds me a bit of the "Pretty Girl" stage from Produce X 101.

8. WEi - Twilight

WEi is a 6 member boy group under OUI entertainment. They debuted on October 5th, 2020. The group contains former Produce 101 season 2 contestants, Produce X 101 contestants, former 1The9 members, and the 1st place winner of Produce X 101. They have a very catchy whistle that is played throughout their song. If you were a fan of the whistle from BTS "DNA," then I recommend this song to you. The song is very chill and layback. An outstanding debut you should 100% check out.

9. DKB - Sorry Mama

DKB is a 9 member boy group under Brave Entertainment. They debuted on February 3rd, 2020. I will say that the DKB members are probably one of the best dancers out of all of the 2020 rookie groups. Their dances are very clean, intriguing, and captivating. Their debut song features powerful rapping skills as well as some smooth breakdowns. I wouldn't pass over these boys!

10. Even Of Day - Where the sea sleeps

Even of Day is a subunit of Day6, a K-band under JYP entertainment. They debuted on August 31st, 2020. The subunit consists of Day6 members Dowoon, Wonpil, and Young K. The mv features their animal correspondents, and they are quite adorable. In the mv, the three members find themselves stranded on a planet with a broken ship. They fix it and try to head home back to the rest of their friends, but they are hit by meteors and are struck down. Despite their cuteness, the mv brought me to tears and still does every time I listen. Their voices are heavenly. Their vocals are amazing. I strongly recommend this song to anyone who hasn't heard it before.

11. Jeon Youl - Mamacita

A highly requested debut, Jeon Youl is a former Steller member. She made her solo debut on September 12th, 2020, with her digital single "Mamacita." Hence the title, the song features many Hispanic-influenced instrumentals. The song is highly overlooked. Her dancing and performance are spot on. Thank you, Hopkinz, for recommending this!
