Big Bang's G-Dragon is accused of trying to avoid active duty service

There has not been a quiet day in a whole year during GD's military enlistment.

New details have emerged that Big Bang's G-Dragon was disqualified from active duty this time following allegations of favoritism and lack of promotion. As a result, the public's view of GD is already cold.

An official from the Baekgol unit revealed to the media on the 2nd saying, "the investigation committee conducted a review on Kwon Ji-yong (GD)'s non-serviceability to serve in the military.  The decision by the Global Review Committee of the Ground Operations Command will determine whether GD will be discharged or not.  If an "appropriate" decision is made during the review, the incumbent (GD) will have to serve in active duty.  If he is found to be "unconforming" he will either serve as a public service agent or work at the Civil Defense Commission."

In other news, GD was admitted to the hospital last February for ankle treatment before enlistment and many suspect that he received preferential treatment despite being a general soldier.  Later reports came out that GD took excessive vacations and has spent one third of his military life outside of the unit.  An official from Three Divisions said, "It is true that GD is a soldier but it is difficult to confirm this issue because it is a personal matter."

YG Entertainment has gone silent and has yet to release an official statement on this issue.

Stay tuned for updates.

Too many negative Big Bang news in a short time. A little too many. Nobody public these news accidentally. I'm a little curious for the reason. I mean the real reason behind this.

There's no effort by GD to escape the military. The military already dismissed the excess vacation days thing as rubbish days ago. He's behind on his promotion because of the time he spent injured. When he makes up the deficit he'll get his promotion. They reviewed his case to make certain he's still fit to serve as an active duty soldier and that there's no ongoing issue. He was declared fit to continue (according to the actual AKP journalist) so he will. Try sticking to the actual facts instead of twisting things to suit your own personal agenda.
