AOA's Seolhyun revealed the first time she and comedian Kim Shin Young fought.
On 'Knowing Brothers' this week, Seolhyun proposed the question, "Why did Kim Shin Young and I fight the first time?" during a Q&A session. Heechul guessed correctly which was that Kim Shin Young constantly paid for both AOA's Jimin and Seolhyun while on a trip together.
Seolhyun explained, "Kim Shin Young always try to pay but while on a trip together, (Jimin) and I wanted to pay equally. So we did rock-paper-scissors with the loser paying the most. But every time I lost, she kept insisting we do it over again so we ended up pooling our money together with me putting in 100,000 KRW (~93.36 USD), Jimin with 500,000 KRW (~466.80 USD) and Kim Shin Young with 1,000,000 KRW (~933.60 USD)." While explaining, Kim Shin Young simply whispered, "It's because you're a maknae," indicating the youngest and a hoobae shouldn't have to pay or as much.
"I was in charge of the money so when I tried to pay, she (Kim Shin Young) would keep paying first. We promised on this rule but she kept paying so it made me frustrated, causing us to fight," Seolhyun finished.
The comedian explained, "They've gone through so many hardships. I've also gone through a lot of hardships but because I know that and experienced it, I just want to give them whatever I can as the unnie. Seolhyun and I have a 12-years age gap," showing her considerate side.
