'Netflix's first ever original Korean variety series 'Busted' is coming back for season 2.
On May 31, 'Netflix' told news outlets, "We have confirmed the production of season 2 due to the show's explosive response both domestically and overseas. We plan on greeting worldwide fans with upgraded laughter and crime solving."
Season 1 of 'Busted' starred Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Kwang Soo, Park Min Young, Ahn Jae Wook, Kim Jong Min, EXO's Sehun, and Gugudan's Kim Se Jung, and told the story of a team of 7 unlikely detectives who worked together to solve mysteries each episode.
Jo Hyo Jin PD of 'Busted' said, "It was a very innovative and different attempt to combine variety with artificial reality, resulting in some awkwardness and areas of lacking, but I am happy to tell a new story again through this opportunity. In season 2, there are even more stories I want to tell. We will return after preparing season 2 much more creatively and competitively, for a better, more comical structure."
