JBJ is a project group made up of 'Produce 101' season 2 contestants. The contract for the members promised group promotions up until April 2018, they will then disband and the members will return to their home agencies.

During a recent interview with OSEN, JBJ members opened up about the group's inevitable end. Takada Kenta said, "We talk about this often" and continued, "If you ask why I cried at our concert, it's because I was happy but also because the group's end came into my mind. I cried wondering how much longer we could keep these beautiful moments and stand on stage together."
Kim Dong Han also said, "Thinking about this matter complicates my head so I try not to think about it. Who works with the thought of getting fired? I just try to live the moment with joy."
Kenta added, "I want to continue together. All of us think that way.." Kim Yong Guk agreed and said, "I also want to continue promoting as JBJ. Group promotions are so joyful." Noh Tae Hyun next said, "You never know when and how you are going to become a celebrity. So if you're satisfied with your current job then you continue to want it. I believe this is a common thought of all celebrities. So we are working harder in this situation and think that it will be nice to continue the team."
Hearing this, Kwon Hyun Bin asked, "I hope our promotion period gets extended... Are we getting an extension? Does anybody know?"
