The grandmother of Roy Kim has passed away.

On January 17, the singer dedicated an Instagram post to his grandmother. He wrote, "I have let my grandmother go with an apologetic mind of not being a better grandson and a promise to become more mature. All I can do now is take good care of myself. You've worked hard for a long time, grandma. I love you."
Netizens consoled him with "I hope you find strength during this difficult time", "I'm sure you made her proud" and "I was very worried about you. Thank you for sharing this personal news."
