On January 17, JTBC posted the below teaser on social media with the message, "Preview. A welcomed guest on tonight's 'News Room'! The winner of the 'Golden Disc Awards' digital Daesang! We'll be with music chart queen singer IU. Please watch on JTBC's 'News Room' at 8PM tonight."
IU won the 'Digital Daesang' award at the 'Golden Disc Awards' for her hit song "Through the Night", making her the first female solo singer to win the award in 11 years. She'll be sitting down for an interview on 'News Room' to discuss winning and any comeback plans.
