A set of images were also revealed illustrating the baffling situation. The aftermath of the explosion left a messy trail of feathers lying around both on the seat and floor.

The post continued, "A woman sitting right beside the student ran for cover towards the front of the bus after getting a direct hit. Fortunately, I was on the opposite side so I wasn't affected."

It was said that the student, whose long padding coat exploded, got off at the next stop, humiliated by the sudden incident.

The netizen then stated, "Afterwards, the bus driver cussed up a storm. LOL This is the first time I've ever seen a padding coat literally burst in my entire life."
