Lee Tae Im admits she went overboard with dieting to the point where she experienced hearing issues

Many netizens expressed concerns for the actress after she appeared with an extremely thin figure. She was also accused of going under the knife and having an eating�disorder. In response, Management HENEM�denied cosmetic surgery rumors and explained she plans to gain weight.�

On the September 13 airing of 'Taxi', Lee Tae Im talked about the issue and revealed, "I've gained 8kg (17.6lbs) after the end of 'Woman of Dignity'."

She continued, "Everyone around me showed concerns. So then I came to think that I need to change since the public is not liking how I look. And also, there were side effects (to the weight loss). I couldn't hear well. It was also to the point where I felt like collapsing and I experienced hand tremors."

As for the reason why she lost so much weight, Lee Tae Im said, "At first, I was strongly motivated since I'm returning to the screens after a long time. So I went a diet and ended up losing a lot of weight due to the overly strong motivation."
