ZE:A's Dongjun commented on starting anew with the agency Gold Moon after parting ways with Star Empire.

On June 21, Dongjun wrote to Instagram, "I've started fresh with my dependable hyung and Gold Moon head Hwang Jung Moon, who watched over me from my trainee days until now and gave me warm advice and harsh criticism. I received a lot of love and experience I'll never forget as Dongjun of ZE:A. In the future, I'll try things I've never done before as Kim Dongjun in different fields. Please cheer on my new start with Gold Moon."

As previously reported, Dongjun is the 4th ZE:A member to leave Star Empire for a new label. The first was Kwanghee, who signed with BONBOO ENT; second was Siwan, who signed with Plum Entertainment; and third was Hyungsik, who went with UAA

I wish him well in his new endeavours.  I hope he finds what he is looking for with his new contract.

Every artist should leave Star Empire.

ZE:A is the one of the group that did not get proper recognition. and now without proper disbandment news

that blame falls 99% on their company... boss was too lazy to promote them, his idea of promoting/making a name was that the idols had to do it themselves. Even when they were trainees, year before they debut, he took all their money and phones, literally kicked them out of their dorms and company with only whatever they could pack in 30 minutes (without notice) and said, in order to debut, you are to travel the country and get your own fans... budget for 9 growing boys was I think less than $100 USD a day, meaning food and board... the only thing the company did right was initially putting the boys together.... other than that moment, the rest was due to the boys... even the membership line up, leadership appointment, everything was from the boys own hard work

what??? omg then why the hell did he establish entertainment company if he just want to be lazy. wow. this makes me mad

starempress dontberude Saturday, June 24, 2017

... Okay, maybe not lazy exactly, but he sure has an extremely screwed up philosophy. StarEmpire used to be one of the big three companies, next to SM and YG, but while those companies grew and changed with the times, StarEmpire is still trying to use promotion tactics from before the come of modern technology... Also, SE's boss believes in physical punishment, so as trainees (hints have been dropped that even as debuted idols,) the boss would hit the members. If any member of 9Muse, a group of model-idols, caused trouble, rather than messing up several individual members, the leader took all the slaps instead of them. When people made a fuss about Seventeen getting slapped by their boss, ZE:A fans were wondering where the justice league was at when our boys were getting slapped, kicked, starved, and pretty much tortured. Normally, when a group's contract with their company is up, the fans are always hoping that they choose to renew their contract so that their groups can continue on, but ZE:A's may be the only fandom that was hoping that the boys leave their company and finally get the recognition they deserve, even if it means that they would break up, simply because we know how hard they worked

all the popular ones left ZE:A and star empire I guess we can pretty much say its over...

abbie_kpopper Hyungshi Wednesday, June 21, 2017

they did not left ZEA. they only left Star Empire. ZEA was little promoted and they confirmed it's not a disbandment....just doing solo activities. Something like 2AM
