ZE:A's Dongjun commented on starting anew with the agency Gold Moon after parting ways with Star Empire.

On June 21, Dongjun wrote to Instagram, "I've started fresh with my dependable hyung and Gold Moon head Hwang Jung Moon, who watched over me from my trainee days until now and gave me warm advice and harsh criticism. I received a lot of love and experience I'll never forget as Dongjun of ZE:A. In the future, I'll try things I've never done before as Kim Dongjun in different fields. Please cheer on my new start with Gold Moon."
As previously reported, Dongjun is the 4th ZE:A member to leave Star Empire for a new label. The first was Kwanghee, who signed with BONBOO ENT; second was Siwan, who signed with Plum Entertainment; and third was Hyungsik, who went with UAA.
