Former actress Shim Eun Ha is reported to have been hospitalized after overdosing on sleeping medication on June 20 at 1AM KST.
On June 21, an insider revealed the once-celebrated actress is currently in a hospital in Kangnam, Seoul after taking too many benzodiazepines prescribed for anxiety and insomnia. She's said to be recovering quickly though the hospital has officially stated, "We cannot confirm anything."
Shim Eun Ha's husband, politician Ji Sang Wook, stated in a message, "A family member's health is in danger, and I have to be by their side."
Fans may remember Shim Eun Ha from popular dramas and movies from the 1990s-2000s. She suddenly retired in 2001.
