On June 14, actor Choi Won Young and actress Shim Yi Young's labels told news outlets, "Shin Yi Young has given birth to a daughter weighing 3.4kgs on the morning of June 14 at a hospital in Ilsan."

The labels continued, "Both the mother and child are healthy, and are resting surrounded by the congratulations of family and friends."
Choi Won Young and Shim Yi Young also thanked all who congratulated the couple on the news of their second daughter, and sent out words of encouragement to parents all around the world.
The couple married back in February of 2014, welcoming their first daughter in June of the same year. Congratulations to the family!
