Mnet's popular idol reality show 'Produce 101' season 2 recently announced that they will be taking official group name suggestions for the 11-trainees who will debut. In season 1 of the show, they chose the name I.O.I or 'Ideal of Idol'.
The news was revealed via 'Produce 101's official home page with more than 1,300 entries being submitted since May 26. Let's take a closer look at some of the advised names.

One name that is receiving much spotlight is 'I.M.I' taken from 'It's Me (Pick Me)' as well as '1oi' inspired by I.O.I and 'Produce 101.' There are also 'B.O.I.' ('Best of Idol' 'Dream Boys'), 'N.pick' ('National Pick') and 'Choice 11' to name a few.
Suggestions will be taken up until June 16. All rights and usage of the suggested name will go to CJ E&M once the name has been claimed.
