On May 16, a rep from Mnet revealed, "Currently, the trainees have been assigned songs for the concept round and are in practice." The performances for the concept round will take place at Samsan World Gymnasium on May 28.
The rep also informed that the second round of eliminations will take place on the 20th. Out of the 59 remaining trainees, 24 of them will be sent home. Just like last year, the trainees will have to form new groups if members get eliminated during practice.

Meanwhile, Kim Yong Guk, Joo Hak Nyun, Lim Young Min, Noh Tae Hyun, Kim Jong Hyun, and Jeong Se Woon have received 10,000 benefit votes for winning #1 during position battle last week.
The next episode of 'Produce 101' season 2 will be airing this Friday on May 20.
