A 'Produce 101' contestant is under fire for impersonating G-Dragon in the past.

Jo Kyu Min first came to attention on 'Star King' a few years ago as someone who looked like G-Dragon. He also went on tours in China as 'Z-Dragon', who drew crowds only because he looked like G-Dragon.

He also often imitated G-Dragon on Instagram, following his poses and styles.

While imitating G-Dragon is not a crime, fans became furious when a tour for his concert used an actual photo of G-Dragon himself.

Not only so, he'd come out on 'Entertainment Relay' and impersonated G-Dragon for a while before revealing himself. (However, this was planned by the staff of 'Entertainment Relay' and probably not his fault at all).

He tried to explain through an Instagram message, "I'm not doing anything bad;; I don't go around saying I look like G-Dragon. First, I never pretended to be him in the China concerts. They used false advertisement that was completely different from my request. I was surprised [when I saw his photo]. I never imitated him first, and only did it when people asked me for broadcast or performances. I was just thankful to do it. I know it's love I don't deserve."

Why do some of y'all act like GD is some kind of God and get all mad when something like this happens??? This also goes with any other idol????

omg lol I think that's kinda funny xD celebs also dressed up as Bigbang and other idols for the show Golden Tabourine so why are they making a big deal out of it?

Z-Dragon. Lol why would this be taken as a big deal. Lol I'm still laughing.

Since when is it a big deal to impersonate a celebrity for entertainment purpose?

Jisoochicken16 Tuesday, March 14, 2017

I don't think there's any wrong with doing something like that. A thousand people impersonate celebrities. So why not allow him?

I know right, people are too sensitive now-a-days. I mean a lot of people get popular by imitating others. Jun Hyun Moo got well known because he impersonated Lucifer (the song). Kim Hee Chul shook the naver search list by imitating Momo from Twice.

Lol. But when we see Michael Jackson impersonators we don't create issues!??

Maybe he's a super fan who gets inspiration from GD. I don't think there's anything wrong with that but he does need to somehow make it his own now that he's in the running to become an idol.
