The boy group held the first of their 2-night concert at Prudential Center in Newark for '2017 BTS Live Trilogy Episode III (Final Chapter): The Wings Tour'.

On the first night of the concert on March 23, many fans lined up to enter the event and were greeted by unexpected visitors. It's reported that the Essex County Bomb Disposal Unit rushed to the site after the news of Army Bombs or BTS' lightsticks being sold. A search dog was also present to inspect every tent with the merchandise. Some people on social media have stated that someone called the local police stating that there would be a bomb at the concert but those claims are unsubstantiated.

After about 10 minutes of searching, the Bomb Disposal Unit confirmed that there was no dangerous threat of any kind and left the scene.

Who's gonna advertise the real bomb at the concert?

Let's see, oh bomb, yes. A lot of people seem to forget about the car bomb in Oklahoma City that killed a lot of people and police officers. The planes flying into buildings that have been found to have bomb debris among the carnage, killing well over 2,500 people (nicknamed ground zero). The bombers at the marathon that killed people. Al Queda (or however it's spelled) sleeper cells having been found in the US with bombs strapped to their chests. And you all think this is a laughing matter? We in the US do not. The managers have not done a good job about educating their security people about the group, their light sticks being called bombs, their fan group being called the ARMYs.The bomb squad is not deployed for just any reason. I'd want them there when I hear the word bomb, especially if it's said at a public venue. You all laughing about this, you make me sick.

We laugh because fans knew exactly what was up with the article title. We know threats aren't a laughing matter, especially when it involves the people we look up to and their personal safety. At least the US doesn't have half the bombings that other countries are experiencing. The news was meant to be taken lighthearted and comical because there was no threat.

Hey, it's a good training opportunity, as long as it doesn't take them away from a real emergency.
