KBS 2TV's upcoming drama 'Hwarang' will be getting some special treatment!
The drama will start airing on the 19th. However, before the regular broadcast, it's getting a special episode on the 16th. Usually, special episodes happen after the drama has finished airing - this is actually the first time that a drama will have a special episode before it's even started.

'Hwarang' is a drama about 'hwarangs' in the Silla period. 'Hwarang' is something that originated in the Koryo period, and is basically where good looking boys were recruited for to learn, train in military arts, and more. The drama will focus on the 'Hwarang' of the Silla period, the boys' love and passion, as well as growth. It features Park Seo Joon, Go Ara, and ZE:A's Hyungsik as main characters, and boasts a colorful cast of BTS' V, SHINee's Minho, and more.
