Actor Kim Soo Hyun, who is an aspiring pro-bowler, is receiving praises for his bowling skill and potential.
The actor scored an average of 208.3 points (total 3,124 points, 15 games) in the recent pre-qualifying matches at the 2016 Korean Pro-Bowler Selection.
During the 10th game, Kim Soo Hyun scored 8 strikes in a row, and during the11th game, he hit 9 strikes consecutively. In the first round, the actor earned an average of 221 points (total 3315, 15 games) and in the following round, he scored 214.6 points (6439 points, 30 games), placing him as No. 31 out of 114 competitors.
Pro-Bowling Committee's president Oh Il Soo stated, "I've watched pro-bowler selection matches many times, but Kim Soo Hyun definitely stands out... Considering that he trained in the early mornings because of his busy schedules, he has great potential."
Kim Soo Hyun, who started bowling as a hobby in 2013, is known to sometimes practice up to 4-5 hours a day. At a bowling ally in China, the actor scored 297 points (out of 300 points) with a 15 lb ball.
The next qualifying matches will take place on October 29 and 30.
