Suzy's new drama 'Uncontrollably Fond' may have topped viewership ratings nationwide but that didn't mean people spared any criticism toward her acting.

The highly anticipated romance drama featuring A-listers Kim Woo Bin and Suzy was bound to draw interest. However, the interest was not all positive. After the first episode of 'Uncontrollably Fond' aired this past July 6, viewers didn't shy from viewing their opinions of the drama, particularly regarding Suzy's "over-exaggerated" and "cheesy" acting. 

Netizens wrote, "I like Suzy but her drunk acting was so cheesy," "Suzy's acting did improve, but I still get the feeling that her acting is unnatural like she's saying, 'Look at me I'm acting,'" "Suzy's acting has no answers. She should study acting more," "She was too over-exaggerated," "Suzy's got a long way to go in acting. Kim Woo Bin out-shined her by a mile," and more.

There were others who were more positive and encouraging, commenting, "Suzy's acting did get better. She got prettier, too," "Nothing really bothered me when I watched the drama yesterday so I don't know why everyone is being so critical toward Suzy," and, "As someone who really wanted to see Suzy acting, I think she acted really well yesterday. I feel all proud watching her develop [her acting]. I was just disappointed with the story progression."
