Girl group Mercury opened up about the difficulties they face as a girl group, their transgender member Han Bit, and more for 'International bnt'.

The 4 members, who were originally studying dance in college, talked about changing their career paths to debut in a girl group. Member SeoAh stated, "Every girl dreams of being in a girl group. There was a slump during the time I was studying dance, and I think that somehow led me here."

Sehee added, "We did debut in a girl group, but to be honest, there's some regret [when we think about giving up dance and choosing Mercury], but this feeling would've existed even if we made the other choice." Sehee also revealed her parent's opposed her choice, adding, "They are still against it, but I believe they will support me since its the choice I made."

Next, the girls addressed the attention on their Han Bit, who promoted as a model prior to Mercury. They answered, "To be honest, we don't complain about it; we think we'll draw more attention because of [Han Bit] unnie. She plays a big role in making Mercury more memorable."

In the group photo, she's the girl on the far right, she's the tallest. She's been the closest thing to a visual for the group, I think. I guess she was a model too.

Their biggest hardship is their really crappy stylist and makeup artist.  Dark hair and classier clothes goes a long way.

no hate, but the transgender has a really annoying voice

They are pretty as heck BACK OFF HATERS. I hope they do gain attention as they want.

In the first pic I thought there were two trans in the pic the girl in the blue-ish dress looked a bit manish too. I know the girl in the beige was trans because she still has a manish look to her features it would be nice to see a trans girl group debut but knowing this is south korea it is not going to happen at all. There still not excepting to gays/lesbians yet so I don't see this kicking off or lasting very long. I don't even dare to read the comments on allkpop on people think about trans its just going to be filled with nasty disgusting things about them.

Han Bit reminds me of Kim Min Hee a little. She's beautiful. I've heard about them before, I might become a fan of the group after hearing their music.

Woah woah woah. That's amazing that in K-pop world we have now more diversity :) That's a progress... but... how come there is already a transgender woman in K-pop group whereas some of my ships still pretend they're straight??!! ;O Come on!!! ^^
