Seung Jun shared his initial thoughts on hearing their group name with, "When our CEO told us that our name will be KNK, I felt like the sky was falling down. We really wanted a cool name for us, but now after thinking over it for awhile, I realized that it's unique, and special. At the time, everyone in our company was in a state of alarm, but we decided to go along with it. Now I like it, and I believe that we were able to make an impression in the beginning due to our name."
You Jin added, "I'm the person who was against the name until the very end. I even checked X on the final vote. Our other options were Must One, Kaiser, Guys, Rose of Sharon, and more. Out of all, I liked To the O and Royal the best."
