It seemed that many fans were disappointed by Jang Su Won's reply when asked about marriage plans with his current girlfriend, a college student 13 years his junior. The idol joked, "I need to make up for the money I didn't make with Sechskies", from which some fans concluded that money seemed more important to Jang Su Won than his fans.
On his Instagram on June 15, Jang Su Won wrote, "First, I'm very sorry that I'm just addressing the issue now, and I've thought a lot about what to say to console your hurt feelings. What I said on broadcast. Meant I should and want to focus more on Sechskies' activities for the time being. Plus I wanted to make it comical for the variety show. What I want to ask of you is that there's no divide between the fans because of this event. I'm sorry, I love you, and goodnight. #Whoever told me to leave #I'll find you #Feel like drinking tonight."
The veteran idol seems to have handled the situation with love and care (and a joke at the end) toward his fans!
